GSIPT to Support Construction Management Activities for the USACE Mobile District

Largo, MD, January 6, 2014 - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mobile District is currently negotiating an important five-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with Government Services Integrated Process Team (GSIPT). GSIPT will support the construction management activities of the District and the South Atlantic Division, providing architecture, engineering, cost estimating, and construction inspection services in locations throughout that Southeast and in Central and South America.

The GSIPT team was chosen due to their extensive knowledge of the USACE “way of doing business.” Team members have worked with USACE districts for the past decade and have a thorough understanding of the USACE’s processes and requirements. The team’s construction management professionals average more than 20 years of experience in construction inspection, claims analysis, budget control, and—most importantly—in developing innovative solutions to issues that arise in the field. GSIPT knows how to keep projects in compliance with construction contracts, quality standards, budgets, and schedules. With staff located throughout the South Atlantic Division, the team offers the Mobile District immediate mobilization and on-site assistance in less than 24 hours.

Further, explains GSIPT president Susan Ballard Hirsch, “GSIPT team members work in collaboration with all stakeholders. Through communication, communication, and communication, we eliminate surprises.” Ballard adds, “We love what we do and it shows.”
