Government Services IPT Selected for GSA Federal Supplier Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory Pilot Program

Largo, MD- Government Services Integrated Process Team (Government Services IPT)has been selected as one of only 46 firms nationwide to continue participation in the U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) Federal Supplier Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory Pilot. The pilot is an initiative of the White House Council on Environmental Quality’s GreenGov Supply Chain Partnership.

In accordance with the pilot program, Government Services IPT will monitor and report its greenhouse gas emissions over a three year timespan to supply GSA with data to help promote sustainable and energy efficient practices within the federal supply chain. Government Services IPT announced its partnership with the GSA GreenGov Supply Chain in November 2010 and has successfully completed the first year of the three year pilot program.

Furthering its commitment to environmental stewardship, Government Services IPT conducted an audit of its greenhouse gas emissions, and developed an inventory management plan committing to a 2% annual reduction.
